PPK Ormawa BEM FEB UNS Team Launched the Karangturi Village Girls’ School Program
The 2023 Student Organizational Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa) Team, Student Executive Board (BEM), Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), supervised by Dr. Nurul Istiqomah, FEB UNS Lecturer, carried out a ‘Dissemination and Launching of the Karangturi Girls’ School Program (SEANTURI)’ in Karangturi Village, Karanganyar Regency, Saturday, July 22, 2023.
The launch of the SEANTURI Program was attended by the residents of Karangturi Village, especially the members of PKK (Womens and Mothers Association) at Karangturi Village as the designated program target participants by the PPK Ormawa BEM FEB UNS 2023 Team. As reported there are around 40 people attending the SEANTURI program launching ceremony. In addition, the ceremony was also attended by the Village Head and apparatus of Karangturi Village.
The SEANTURI program launch and inauguration was carried out symbolically by cutting a tumpeng. Tumpeng cutting was carried out by village representatives and the PPK Ormawa BEM FEB UNS Team as a symbol of welcoming the PPK Ormawa BEM FEB UNS 2023 team and the SEANTURI program by the Karangturi Village community.
The SEANTURI program is one form of FEB students’ dedication to the local community through village development activities and community empowerment, especially women. The program focuses on the actualization of women in Karangturi Village based on 21st-century learning. This program will have 11 material curricula that are not only theory-oriented but also practice-oriented.
Along with the launching and inauguration ceremony, indeed, numerous wishes and hopes were conveyed for the success of this program.
The Head of Karangturi Village, Mulyani, hopes that this program will be able to establish partnerships with external parties and the village. Thus, it can provide program optimization to improve the capabilities of village communities.
In addition, the leader of the PPK Ormawa BEM FEB UNS 2023, Anisa Miftakhul Jannah, also hopes that the SEANTURI program can optimize the role and contribution of women in Karangturi Village, which can later be beneficial for herself and others, especially in within the family in the village.
