Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), organized a Management Review Meeting (RTM) on Wednesday (3/6/2026) at Meeting Room 1, Soeharno TS Building, FEB UNS. The event was attended by the faculty executive board, heads of study programs, the Quality Assurance Unit (UPM), the Quality Control Group (GKM), heads of laboratories at FEB UNS, and other supporting elements as part of the efforts toward continuous evaluation and quality improvement within FEB UNS.

The Head of the FEB UNS Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Evi Gantyowati, M.Si., Ak., CA., QIA., stated that the RTM serves as a forum to follow up on various findings from the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) as well as various inputs obtained during the evaluation process. The diverse feedback emerging during the meeting is expected to serve as materials for collective improvement to elevate the quality of academic services and faculty governance.

In his presentation, the Vice Head of Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at FEB UNS, Dr. Mulyanto, M.E., explained that the RTM is part of the quality assurance cycle implemented on a continuous basis. The evaluation results from Level 1 AMI and Level 2 AMI were discussed together as a basis for introspection and improvement to enhance the quality of education, research, community engagement, and supporting services at FEB UNS.

“Today, we will examine the findings from both AMI 1 and AMI 2. We’ll look at these findings together without pointing fingers, but rather as a collective movement on how FEB can progress from day to day and year to year,” he explained.

During the meeting, several findings that require attention were discussed, including achievements of student foreign language proficiency, strengthening international research and community engagement, alumnus tracer studies, student study periods, and various student feedback regarding the learning process and internship activities. Additionally, the RTM reviewed the trend of recurring findings from the previous year as well as new findings emerging in the current year.

Dr. Evi Gantyowati emphasized the importance of following up on several recurring findings, including strengthening international community engagement, optimizing alumnus tracer studies, and designing a more systematic monitoring mechanism for study periods through an early warning system to support timely student graduation.

Meanwhile, the Dean of FEB UNS, Prof. Bhimo Rizky Samudro, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., in his briefing, appreciated Quality Assurance Unit teamwork’s and all parties involved in the quality evaluation process. According to him, the RTM outcomes provide vital inputs for the faculty in formulating future improvement steps. Prof. Bhimo also highlighted the urgency of increasing international activities, both in research and community engagement, which remain recurring issues across various quality evaluations. Furthermore, coordination between units, database strengthening, and optimization of various student and alumni support programs must be continuously enhanced to support the faculty’s quality targets.

Through this Management Review Meeting, FEB UNS confirms its commitment to continuously conducting evaluation and continuous improvement as part of the institution’s quality culture, while ensuring all programs and services provided are capable of supporting the optimal achievement of the faculty’s vision. This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through efforts for continuous quality improvement in higher education, and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by strengthening governance, quality assurance systems, and an evaluation culture in higher education delivery.
