FEB UNS Faculty Council Meeting Discusses Preparations for the February–July 2026 Semester
Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), organized a Faculty Council Meeting on Friday, 20 February 2026, at the Suhardi Hall, FEB UNS. The meeting was organized as part of preparations for the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) for the 2025B Semester (February–July 2026).
In his opening remarks, the Dean of FEB, Prof. Bhimo Rizky Samudro, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., outlined several strategic faculty agendas to be elaborated by the respective Vice Deans. The first concerned the completion of Semester Learning Plans (RPS) aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), along with the implementation of monitoring and evaluation (monev) of the teaching and learning process, formally regulated through a Dean’s Decree and implemented by the Academic Affairs Division.
Second, he addressed the ongoing international accreditation process through the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), noting that the Business Unit Application has been approved, and the faculty is currently coordinating the submission of the Eligibility Application.
The third, he outlined the planned establishment of a new Study Program in Islamic Economics and Finance (EKIS). The proposal has undergone university-level review, received a recommendation from the Academic Senate, and is currently in the process of obtaining the Rector’s Decree and submitting a recommendation to LAMEMBA. This initiative is further supported by the inauguration of the Islamic Economic Business Center (UNS–BPKH).
The Dean also addressed the synchronization of laboratory collaboration activities to prevent overlapping events and programs, the development of the Integrity Zone through revisions of the Standard Operation and Procedure (SOP) and preparation of the Self-Evaluation Worksheet (LKE), he further highlights some strategic planning for further studies particularly for junior lecturers through systematic mapping and cross-unit coordination.

Subsequently, the Vice Dean for Academic and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Tri Murwaningsih, M.Si., presented information regarding the Academic Calendar for the 2026B Semester. The schedule covering the course registration period, uploading of RPS and Assignment Plans (Rancangan Tugas), a 19-week learning period, grade entry schedules, and the yudisium (end of semester graduation proceeding) schedule.
During the month of Ramadan, lectures will be conducted from 08.00 to 15.30 WIB, with a duration of 40 minutes per credit unit. Lecturers are required to ensure the preparation and submission of RPS and Assignment Plan through the Academic Information System (SIAKAD), including alignment between assessment plans and the implementation of case methods and/or team-based projects.
The meeting also addressed the strengthening of PBM quality assurance, the implementation of academic integrity SOPs, the governance of final assignments through supervision logbooks, as well as international mobility programs and development of teaching materials.
In the subsequent session, the Vice Dean for Non-Academic Affairs, Sutaryo, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Ak., CA., CRA., CRP., ACPA., presented adjustments to the budget in alignment with the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) and new institutional performance indicators. The 2026 budget structured across four quarters and subject to periodic performance monitoring.
On human resources, updates were delivered regarding revisions to lecturer mapping within each Study Program, mandatory reporting of BKD, SKP, LHKPN, and SPT, as well as the structuring of lecturers’ home base arrangement. From the infrastructure perspective, classrooms and supporting facilities were declared ready, including hybrid learning facilities and the development of a master plan for FEB’s infrastructure expansion.
The Faculty Council Meeting concluded with a Ramadan Reflection Session (Kajian Ramadan 1447 H) delivered by Dr. Hanifullah Syukri, M.Hum., followed by a communal iftar attended by the extended FEB community. The occasion also saw the announcement of winners of the sports and fun games competitions held in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Universitas Sebelas Maret.
Through the strengthening of teaching and learning processes, institutional governance, and the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into RPS and research aligned with the United Nations agenda, this activity reflects FEB UNS’s commitment to supporting SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
