Ainina Ratnadewati, MESP Student, Participates in the UNS Joint Supervision Program with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
Joint Supervision is a program that provides a space for selected students to prepare their final assignments, supervised directly by lecturers from universities abroad. Ainina Ratnadewati is one of the students of the Master of Economics and Development Studies (MESP) Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) who had the opportunity to participate in the program.
The thesis preparation conducted by Ainina was directly supervised by Associate Professor Dr. Norlida Hanim Binti Mohd Salled as a lecturer from the Faculty of Economics, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. On Monday, July 29, 2024, a thesis proposal seminar was held as one of a series of Joint Supervision activities that directly invited supervisors from the National University of Malaysia.
On this occasion, Ainina presented a research proposal entitled “Implementation of Circular Economy as a Solution to Waste Problems in Traders in Prambanan Temple Tourism Park: Multi-Analysis Approach.”
The event was attended by students from several cross-majors, namely the Economics and Agribusiness Study Program at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Throughout the seminar, both participants and supervisors, especially Associate Professor Dr. Norlida Hanim Binti Mohd Salled provided numerous suggestions to produce a quality final project.
In the long term, this initiative is expected to attract more FEB UNS students and motivate them to participate in this Joint Supervision Program, improving relations with international university partners while improving the quality of students’ writing, particularly during their final project.
