
BPKH and FEB UNS Collaboration for Mastering Class: Deepening Understanding of Islamic Financial Transactions
The Hajj Financial Management (BPKH), in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), organized the BPKH Mastering Class: Deepening Understanding of Islamic Financial Transactions at the Konimex Hall, Bachtiar Effendi Building, FEB UNS, on Saturday, 21 June 2025.
In his remarks, the Dean of FEB UNS, Prof. Bhimo Rizky Samudro, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., stated that this activity serves as an excellent forum. Moreover, the event offers substantial benefits to students by enhancing their knowledge of Islamic financial literacy. The implementation of the BPKH Mastering Class also represents a form of collaboration that is highly valuable to both parties. Therefore, Prof. Bhimo expressed his hope that this partnership can be further developed in the future.
Dr. Sulistyowati, M.E., CPF., Member of the Executive Board of BPKH, delivered remarks while also presenting an overview regarding the management of hajj funds. In her presentation, she emphasized the importance of transparency and efficiency in managing public funds to ensure alignment with sharia principles. Dr. Sulistyowati also outlined the roadmap of BPKH’s establishment and its current role as the institution responsible for managing hajj funds in Indonesia.
The event went on with a session on ZISWAF (Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf) presented by Sasti Nugroho, M.Ikom., from Baitulmaal Muamalat, followed by a presentation on Islamic Banking Products by Sahlan from Bank Muamalat. The program concluded with a lecture entitled Enhancing Islamic Financial Literacy delivered by Ibrahim Fatwa Wijaya, M.Sc., Ph.D., Chairperson of MES Surakarta and Director of Planning, Partnership, Internationalization, and Reputation, UNS.
