Being a reputable faculty at the national and international level based on national culture is the vision of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta. FEB UNS already has excellent accreditation at the national and international levels.

The faculty also has qualified lecturers and academic support staff who will always be available to support the academic community activities. The facilities provided in the campus area are excellent and meet the standards for students to develop their knowledge, and at the same time develop soft skills and social skills.

The statement was delivered by Dr. Dwi Prasetyani, S.E., M.Si., Plt. (Acting Officer) for the Vice Dean of Academic, Research, and Student Affairs, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at the UNS Open Days 2023. A virtual event hosted by the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) for New Student Admissions (SPMB), to bring UNS closer to the public, Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

Furthermore, the faculty also has numerous outstanding alumni such as the Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners, the Deputy of the Bank Indonesia, the Director of KAI, as well as national and international entrepreneurs and many more. “This outstanding profile shows that FEB UNS is a very, very attractive faculty for the young fellow. So, please join us and we’ll make sure you will be a part of our extensive academic networks and activities,” she reveals in the UNS Open Days.

In the International Class Program session, Dr. Atmaji, MM, Plt. (Acting Officer) the Head of Management Study Program (MSP), said that there are three international class programs in FEB UNS, namely the Accounting Study Program International Class, Management Study Program International Class, and Development Economics Study Program International Class.

He added that the international class curriculum focuses on international exposure in addition to the similar curriculum provided in the regular program. “Our program has some advantages. You need to understand that in the future, the international orientation will be our focus. Choosing an international class is the right choice because you will get a lot of knowledge and international exposure through lectures given by both national and global lecturers.

In line with Dr. Atmaji, Bhimo Rizky Samudro, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Plt. (Acting Officer) the Head of the Development Economics Study Program, also said that although the international class has similar academic content to the regular program, it offers more emphasis on international exposure.

“When joining the International Class, you will be able to find a blend of international exposure and strong Javanese culture in Surakarta, we welcome you to join us,” he concluded.
