
Hosting a Board of Lecturers Meeting FEB UNS Prepares for the August 2024-January 2025 Semester
The Board of Lecturer Meeting is an agenda held by the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) to prepare and evaluate learning activities in each semester. Preparing for the August 2024-January 2025 semester session, a Board of Lecturers Meeting was held at the FEB UNS Suhardi Building Hall, Monday, 19 August 2024.
The Dean of FEB UNS, Prof. Djoko Suhardjanto, M.Com. (Hons), Ak., in his remarks, delivered the semester agenda, which will begin on Monday, August 26, 2024. For the August 2024-January 2025 semester, the leadership ranks have conducted a coordination meeting to allow all activities to be implemented seamlessly, including room arrangements for lecturers. Prof. Djoko also said that soon, renovation of lecturer rooms on the 4th floor of Soedarah Soepono Building will be carried out, considering that a considerable number of the lecturer’s rooms are no longer fit for use.
Concluding his remark, Prof. Djoko apologized to all lecturers who attended the meeting. “This is the last lecturer meeting in our terms, as the Dean and Vice Dean of FEB UNS, we wish to express our farewell, we apologize if there are inappropriate speech and actions during our terms, we will maintain support for the future leadership, hopefully, FEB UNS will be much better and more successful,” he concluded.
At the Board of Lecturers Meeting, Prof. Irwan Trinugroho, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., a representative of FEB UNS lecturer, who currently also serves as the Vice-Rector for Planning, Partnership, Internationalization, and Information Affairs UNS, was given the opportunity to deliver a speech. Prof. Irwan explained the mechanism for the election of officials under the Rector. Further, he states that in the event of the election of the Dean, the Rector provides decentralization or autonomy to the faculty with an input mechanism from the Academic Senate of the Faculty. Prof. Irwan also explained that there were several amendments to the UNS SOTK for organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
In the following session, the Vice Deans presented report materials according to their respective fields. Dr. Dwi Prasetyani, S.E., M.Si., Vice Dean of Academic, Research and Student Affairs, presented materials covering the Academic Calendar for the August 2024-January 2025 session, Lecture Methods, Admission of FEB UNS New Students in 2024, Implementation of Academic Collaboration Cooperation, MBKM Cooperation, Publications, and International Office FEB.
Meanwhile, the Vice-Dean for Human Resources, Finance, and Logistics Affairs, Djuminah, M.Si., Ak., delivered a report on the Human Resources, Facilities, and Infrastructure Information as well as the FEB Budget Absorption as of August 16, 2024. On this occasion, Dr. Djuminah also congratulated five lecturers who had just completed their Doctoral Program, namely Arum Setyowati, S.E., M.M., Ph.D., Danur Condro Guritno, S.E., M.E., Ph.D., Arif Rahman Hakim, S.E., M.Ec.Dev., Ph.D., Yogi Pasca Pratama, S.E., M.E., Ph.D., and Muhammad Yusuf Indra Purnama, S.E., M.Rech., Ph.D.
Tastaftiyan Risfandy, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Planning, Business, Partnership, and Information Affairs, explained various Partnership agreements that have been carried out both nationally and internationally. There have also been re-arrangements in the information services, one of which is the establishment of a social media channel with much better visuals. After the Vice Dean’s presentation, the lecturers had the opportunity to provide questions, suggestions, and input.
