FEB UNS Students Attend International Class Mobility Program Info Session

The International Mobility Program (International Exposure) at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), aims to broaden students’ global perspectives, strengthen cross-cultural competencies, and enhance graduates’ competitiveness through learning experiences in international academic environments. This message was conveyed by Prof. Tri Mulyaningsih, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Academic and Research Affairs, when opening the coordination meeting of the International Class Mobility Program at the Coordination Room, 1st Floor, Soeharno TS Building, FEB UNS.

She further explained that students will have the opportunity to participate in various international activities, including Short-Term Programs at partner universities such as Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia, and Osaka Metropolitan University, Japan; student exchange programs (Credit Transfer) at Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Malaya, and National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan; as well as Double Degree and Credit Transfer schemes at Saxion University, the Netherlands, and Curtin University, Australia.

The timeframe and duration for the Short-Term Programs range between 1–2 weeks and are held during the semester break (December–January). Meanwhile, the Credit Transfer programs are conducted in the even or odd semesters with varying durations.

In addition, there is the UNS Global Challenge Program, which provides funding opportunities for students wishing to take part in academic programs at the world’s top 100 universities. The requirements include active student status, completion of four semesters, and a good academic record. The funding schemes available are either fully funded or co-funding, where participants receive funding for the flight tickets but must prepare additional funding for personal expenses during the program duration.

Regarding pre-departure preparations, students will participate in intercultural readiness workshops and pre-departure briefings. They will also receive assistance in processing essential documents such as passports, visas, and travel insurance, as well as support for logistics coordination and academic readiness to ensure smooth program implementation.
