About FEB UNS

Founded in conjunction with the Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) establishment, the Faculty of Economics and Business of UNS offers high-quality education at bachelors, masters, and doctorate degree levels. FEB UNS currently has 7-degree programs consisting of three bachelors (undergraduate) programs, three master’s programs, and one doctoral program. All programs are accredited with ‘A’ standard (excellent) by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).

FEB UNS enrolls more than 2,000 students annually and inaugurated more than 12,000 graduates at Bachelor level and more than 2,000 Postgraduate alumni. Supported by more than 132 full-time faculty members and an extensive alumni network, this Faculty has a significant role in Indonesia’s national development. Based on the statute of UNS, the faculty is structurally administered under UNS with certain autonomous authority, especially in curriculum and teaching development, strategic planning, human resources development, budget allocation, and management of facilities and equipment.

FEB UNS has a vision to be a global Faculty in Economics and Business. At international level, the faculty establishes mutual partnerships with reputable overseas universities and institutions such as Purdue University (United States), University of Limoges (France), University of Twente (Netherlands), University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom), Science Po Toulouse (France), and Curtin University Australia. FEB UNS is registered as the member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). In 2016, the Master in Management Study Program was certified by the Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship for Tomorrow (ABEST21). FEB UNS actively hosted numerous prestigious academic events both at the national and international levels.

The Faculty mission is elaborated as follows:

  1. Organizing qualified education and teaching in economics, management, and accounting which produces competent graduates who are ready to compete in the national and international levels.
  2. Conducting excellent scientific researches in economics, management, and accounting that are published in accredited national journals and reputable international journals.
  3. Providing excellent community service activities that are oriented towards community empowerment efforts.
