Sejalan dengan peran penting SDM dalam sebuah organisasi, manajemen sumber daya manusia (HRM) menjadi cabang ilmu pengetahuan yang akan terus berkembang seiring dengan perkembangan dinamika hubungan dalam organisasi dan bisnis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prodi S1 Manajemen, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FEB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta menyelenggarakan Guest Lecture Human Resource Management II, dengan topik Current Issues and Theoretical Development in HRM, 18 Mei 2024.\u00a0 Di kegiatan itu, prodi menghadirkan dosen tamu dari Universiti Putra Malaysia, Assoc. Topik hari ini sangat penting untuk dibahas karena permintaan ataupun tuntutan dari pegawai dapat berubah seiring berkembangnya zaman, sehingga perusahaan atau pemberi kerja perlu memprediksi perubahan ini,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selain membahas mengenai perkembangan dalam topik manajemen SDM, Dr. Zuraina juga menjelaskan mengenai perbedaan antara teori manajemen SDM tradisional dan kontemporer. Menurut beliau kedua pendekatan tersebut masih relevan dan penting, karena terkadang untuk menghadapi kasus tertentu perusahaan menemukan bahwa pendekatan tradisional lebih cocok untuk diterapkan.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-30632 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/GL-PSM-Human-Resource-Management-II-300x169.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/GL-PSM-Human-Resource-Management-II-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/GL-PSM-Human-Resource-Management-II-600x337.png 600w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/GL-PSM-Human-Resource-Management-II-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/GL-PSM-Human-Resource-Management-II.png 1366w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Terkait perkembangan AI (Artificial Intelligence), Dr. Zuraina berpendapat bahwa AI seharusnya menjadi alat bagi pegawai, bukan sebaliknya. Dalam hal inilah manajemen SDM akan terus berkembang dan diperbaharui sesuai perubahaan. Di Asia contohnya terdapat beberapa topik yang saat ini sering diangkat dalam riset seperti komitmen pegawai dan kepemimpinan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cKemudian bagaimana cara memilih teori SDM untuk melakukan riset? Mahasiswa dapat memilih teori berdasarkan tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian yang akan dilaksanakan. Contohnya jika mahasiswa meneliti topik tentang bagaimana meningkatkan komitmen pegawai, maka mereka bisa menggunakan teori organisasi atau teori individual.
