Bisnis perlu memutuskan desain dan bagaimana mereka akan mengatur supply chain,\u201d jelasnya membuka paparan materi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prof. Chicksand juga menjelaskan perbedaan antara manajemen operasi dan manajemen rantai pasokan. Manajemen operasi lebih berfokus pada proses transformasi, sementara manajemen rantai pasokan berfokus pada input dan output.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Garis besar paparan materi terbagi dua yaitu <em>supply network design<\/em> (desain jaringan pasokan) dan <em>supply chain management<\/em> (manajemen rantai pasokan). Desain jaringan pasokan dipengaruhi oleh dua aspek yaitu struktur dan jaringan dan cakupan dari jaringan rantai pasokan yang digunakan. Manajemen rantai pasokan menjadi penting karena hal tersebut mempengaruhi bagaimana kita menggunakan objek pasokan secara konstan,\u201d jelas Prof. Chicksand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Setelah paparan materi yang berlangsung selama kurang lebih satu jam tersebut, mahasiswa diberikan kesempatan untuk bertanya langsung secara interaktif dengan Prof. Chicksand.
