During the session, Arif Lukman Santoso, S.E., M.M., M.Pro., Ak., Ph.D., a member of the FEB UNS Islamic Economics and Finance Research Group, presented the importance of maintaining comprehensive accounting records in accordance with the Islamic Boarding School Financial Accounting Guidelines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Arif Lukman Santoso explained that proper accounting records are essential for Islamic boarding schools to ensure financial transparency, facilitate reporting to donors, and monitor the assets of the boarding school&#8217;s business units. Transparent financial reporting provides clear information on cash inflows and outflows to the foundation and students&#8217; parents or guardians, while accountability supports compliance with the Islamic Boarding School Financial Accounting Guidelines, ensuring that community funds are managed responsibly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">He further explained that the accounting guidelines also serve as an important decision-making tool. They assist administrators in preparing both short-term budgets, such as daily operational expenses, and long-term plans, including the construction of new buildings, student dormitories, and other facilities required to support students&#8217; learning and residential needs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Through this program, the organizers expected to strengthen the capacity of the management of Al Ihsan Islamic Boarding School to prepare financial statements in accordance with the guidelines, including the Statement of Financial Position, Income Statement for the boarding school&#8217;s business activities, Statement of Cash Flows, and other financial reports relevant to Islamic boarding school operations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In the long term, the knowledge gained from this program is expected to support sound financial governance while reinforcing the values of <em>amar ma&#8217;ruf nahi munkar<\/em> through accountable and transparent
