This event serves as a strategic momentum to strengthen international cooperation in education, research, and community engagement. The main agenda of the meeting included discussions on student exchange programs, joint research, joint supervision, and various other collaborative opportunities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/FOOT-3-768x431.jpg\" width=\"292\" height=\"164\" \/>The UiTM delegation was led by Prof. Ts. Dr. Shafinar Haji Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management, accompanied by Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Ahmad Rais Mohamad Mokhtar and Umaira Binti Othman Koya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Dean of FEB UNS, Prof. Bhimo Rizky Samudro, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., expressed his appreciation for the visit in his opening remarks. He emphasized that FEB UNS and UiTM share a similar vision in elevating academic quality across teaching, scientific publication, and community engagement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8220;We highly welcome this visit as a step to strengthen the academic atmosphere, including enhancing our international academic reputation and achieving better academic governance,&#8221; he remarked.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Meanwhile, Prof. Shafinar Haji Ismail introduced the Faculty of Business and Management, which has been established for 70 years and possesses an extensive network across 35 campuses in 14 states in Malaysia. Currently, the faculty has around 35,000 students and more than 1,100 teaching staff, including professors and doctoral holders. She also conveyed UiTM&#8217;s commitment to expanding collaboration, including curriculum development, faculty member and student exchanges, and the establishment of new study programs, such as Islamic Economics and Banking.<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/fOTO-2-7-768x431.jpg\" width=\"321\" height=\"180\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Vice Dean for Academic and Research Affairs of FEB UNS, Prof. Tri Mulyaningsih, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., added that international cooperation is a key focus, particularly through student exchange programs. FEB UNS offers opportunities for UiTM students to participate in exchange programs for one semester as well as short-term options, including summer programs. She also mentioned that through this collaborative scheme, students from both institutions have the opportunity to receive tuition fee waivers, while remaining responsible for their own living expenses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8220;Solo is a city with a relatively affordable cost of living, which strongly supports international student mobility,&#8221; she explained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Furthermore, FEB UNS offers a summer course program designed to enrich students&#8217; academic and cross-cultural experiences. This program is hopefully going to attract more international student participation, including from UiTM.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/fOTO-3-768x432.jpeg\" width=\"343\" height=\"193\" \/>Meanwhile, Tastaftiyan Risfandy, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs, emphasized the importance of concrete follow-up actions from this meeting through the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) and cooperation agreements (PK). &#8220;This collaboration needs to be continuously expanded, not only in student exchanges but also through community involvement, industrial visits, and other broader collaborative initiatives,&#8221; he expressed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The discussion was highly interactive, involving faculty executives, heads of study programs, and faculty members from both institutions.
