<\/p>\nThe Center for Research and Community Engagement Development (P4M), Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) once again held a Working Paper Forum (WPF) as part of the faculty\u2019s efforts to strengthen its academic culture. The forum took place on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, in Meeting Room 2 FEB UNS, carrying the theme \u201cFrom Local Flavor to Global Future: Lessons from nDalem Indonesia \u2013 Insights into Writing Case Studies for Publication and Recognition.\u201d<\/p>\n
The main speaker of the event was Dila Maghrifani, S.E., B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., FEB UNS lecturer currently serving as the Head of P4M FEB UNS and the Third Place Winner of the EMERALD\/CEEMAN Case Writing Competition. This prestigious achievement demonstrates that the academic work of FEB UNS lecturers has gained recognition at the international level. Through this forum, Dr. Dila shared her experience in writing business case studies that are academically rigorous, relevant to real managerial practices, and globally appealing.![\"\"](\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/DSC06729-300x168.jpg\")

In her presentation, Dr. Dila explained several key principles in case writing. These include constructing narratives based on real-world practices with authentic managerial dilemmas, emphasizing the protagonist\u2019s perspective so that readers can step into the decision-maker\u2019s role, and developing compelling storylines starting with a hook, followed by conflict, and culminating in an open-ended dilemma. She also highlighted the importance of integrating qualitative and quantitative data to enhance the credibility of the work, as well as connecting local contexts to management theories to produce globally relevant learning.![\"\"](\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/DSC06731-300x168.jpg\")

This activity reflects FEB UNS\u2019s commitment to supporting lecturers and researchers in producing high-quality academic work. Through the Working Paper Forum, the faculty aims to build an academic ecosystem that promotes collaboration, capacity building, and international recognition. It is hoped that such forums will inspire more researchers to produce case studies that not only document local wisdom but also address global challenges.<\/p>\n
