Ubaidillah, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., and a group of students from Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) have conducted a community service program supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Boyolali District.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-32325 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-4-5-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-4-5-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-4-5-450x600.jpg 450w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-4-5-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-4-5-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-4-5-1536x2048.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-4-5-scaled.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>The team is assisting two local MSMEs engaged in corn processing in Boyolali: &#8220;<em>Snack Kupu<\/em><strong>&#8220;<\/strong> and &#8220;<em>Keripik Jagung Bu Parni<\/em>&#8220;. The support began in May 2024 and is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8220;<em>Snack Kupu<\/em>&#8221; specializes in a corn snack called <em>&#8220;Marning&#8221;<\/em> with their flagship product, &#8220;<em>Marning Cornerz<\/em>&#8220;, under the tagline &#8220;<em>Marning Enak Gak Bikin Gigi Retak<\/em>&#8221; (t\/n Delicious Marning that Won&#8217;t Break Your Teeth). Founded by Siti Nurhasanah in 2019, the business offers two initial flavors, savory (original) and sweet-spicy, and has since expanded its range to five flavors: chocolate, cappuccino, vanilla, lemon, and strawberry.<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-32321 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-2-7-300x144.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"144\" srcset=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-2-7-300x144.jpg 300w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-2-7-600x288.jpg 600w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-2-7-768x368.jpg 768w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-2-7-1536x736.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-2-7-2048x982.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">One of the business owner&#8217;s planned innovations includes offering a 20g sachet size to make the product more affordable for middle- and lower-income communities. However, due to a lack of sachet packaging equipment, this innovation has yet to be realized.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&#8220;<em>Keripik Jagung Bu Parni<\/em>,&#8221; also founded in 2019, specializes in corn chips. Unlike &#8220;<em>Snack Kupu<\/em>,&#8221; <em>Bu Parni\u2019s<\/em> chips remain less modern and more conventional, including in the production process, business management, financial systems, packaging, and marketing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-32323 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-3-6-300x215.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"215\" srcset=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-3-6-300x215.jpg 300w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-3-6-600x429.jpg 600w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-3-6-768x549.jpg 768w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-3-6-1536x1099.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Foto-3-6-2048x1465.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The primary focus of the community service for these two businesses is to enhance the marketing of <em>Marning<\/em> as a flagship product for Boyolali, using a triple helix method encouraging collaboration between universities, business owners, and the Regional Government of Boyolali to create competitive, sustainable, and high-quality MSMEs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The overall approach to these activities includes technology provision, education, hands-on support, and direct engagement with the business partners.\u00a0The planning phase of this initiative began with problem identification, conducting surveys of the partners&#8217; conditions, discussions, followed by the signing of cooperation agreements, which will serve as the foundation foundation for proposal development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prof. Dr. Rahmawati, M.Si., Ak., Dr. Rita Noviani, S.Si., M.Sc., Prof. Ir.
