This event was conducted at Konimex Hall of Bachtiar Effendy Building FEB UNS. The General Lecture allows participants to gain insight and a lecture experience with lecturers from Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The following agenda was conducted on May 27, 2023. This General Lecture entitled &#8220;Recent Issues in Empirical Finance Research&#8221; was delivered by Prof. Shafinar Ismail in room 4302 Bachtiar Effendy Building FEB UNS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-25410 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Foto-2-300x138.jpg\" alt=\"Inbound Scholar by Digital Business Study Program\" width=\"300\" height=\"138\" srcset=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Foto-2-300x138.jpg 300w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Foto-2-600x277.jpg 600w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Foto-2-768x354.jpg 768w, https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Foto-2.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The event was attended by the Master of Management Study Program students at FEB UNS. On this occasion, Prof. Shafinar Ismail from Universiti Teknologi MARA reviewed the student\u2019s proposal and discussed a topic in the proposal seminar. After that, the participants will get input on their research proposal that will be submitted. Hence they can carry on with the research smoothly in the future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On May 29, 2023, Prof. Shafinar Ismail presented her recent article entitled \u201cThe Intention of Small and medium enterprises\u2019 Owners to Participate in Waqf: a Case of Malaysia and Indonesia,\u201d at the UNS Fintech Center. (Acting Officer) for the Head of the Digital Business Study Program FEB, Putra Pamungkas, M. Rech., Ph.D., revealed that the purpose of this activity is to improve UNS\u2019s international reputation and to establish better global competitiveness. In addition, it will also improve UNS internationalization programs quality and increase UNS&#8217; global academic reputation, as well as strengthen collaboration and MoU implementation with Universiti Teknologi MARA. \u201cOverall, the inbound scholars from Universiti Teknologi MARA can improve UNS learning and research quality extensively along with the QS 100 university Top Scholar by subject,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-25414 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/feb.uns.ac.id\/feb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Foto-7-169x300.jpg\" alt=\"Plt. Following the efforts made within the implementation plan, the current Universiti Teknologi MARA Inbound Scholar provides new insights and further develops UNS exposure. This exposure will include guest lecture activities and discussions on collaborative projects such as webinars, seminars, research, and other activities in the
