Profil FEB

Founded when UNS was established, the Faculty of Economics and Business of UNS offers high-quality education at the associates, bachelors, masters, and doctorate degree levels. FEB UNS currently has 13-degree programs consisting of three bachelors (undergraduate) programs, three master’s programs, one doctoral program and six diplomas (associates degree) programs. All programs have the A rank for national accreditation for their latest accreditation assessments.

FEB UNS enrolls more than 1,000 students annually and has awarded more than 8,000 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate degrees. Supported by more than 150 full-time faculty members and a 9,000-strong alumni network, this school has a significant role in Indonesia’s national development. Based on the statute of UNS (Decree of Ministry of Education and Culture No. 82/ 2014), this faculty is structurally administered under UNS. The faculty has several autonomies, however, especially in the areas of curriculum and teaching/learning, strategic planning, human resources development, budget allocation, and management of facilities and equipment.

In line with the vision and policy of UNS to compete internationally, FEB UNS has also established its vision to be an internationally recognized school of economics and business. FEB UNS has developed mutual partnerships with reputable overseas universities and institutions such as Purdue University (United States), University of Limoges (France), University of Twente (Netherlands), University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom), Science Po Toulouse (France), and Curtin University Australia. FEB UNS is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). In 2016, the Master of Management Program of FEB UNS has been accredited by The Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship for Tomorrow (ABEST21). This school has also successfully held a number of prestigious international academic events, such as “The 8th Conference on Risk, Banking, and Financial Stability” in collaboration with the Journal of Financial Stability in 2013 and the “Asian Finance Association (AsianFA) Annual Conference” in 2014.
